Lets face it GDPR is not top of a start-up businesses initial concerns. It comes a bit down the list of priorities after marketing, getting clients, making a profit and potentially having the right insurance in place.

GDPR is a challenge for any small business.

There is not usually the knowledge or expertise to understand the requirements. Sometimes there is not even the drive to understand what needs to be in place.

It’s all too confusing and there seems to be no obvious starting place. Sure, there are numerous checklists but they just get confusing and don’t provide the granular information for each small business. We’ve been guilty of trying to provide a one size fits all solution and it works for some business owners who can take on the challenge of 30 videos and dissect what they need from it.

But no more.

One of the key things I have learned is that you need to follow a simple process. SIMPLE PROCESS. In this way you don’t need to know the in’s and out’s of GDPR legislation. Just create the process for your business. But it needs to be more granular than that, you need a process for each element of the work you do in your business. You need guidance as to how to create a mailing list and lead magnet, add customers to a mailing list, what needs to be on your website.

Over the coming months, we are going to help small businesses get it right, in a simple way.
